It can be clear, laminated, toughened, obscure, or with a mirror effect. Tilt and turn windows can have triple glazing to give you a maximum sound and heat insulation (84 profile). The wooden or metal glazing bars can be added to a window design. U value is 1.1 W/m2K.
Finish
Fantastic choice of finish colours, paint or varnish, and an aluminium cladding option for an enduring performance Micro-porous coating protects wood from the weather influence and minimum maintenance is required. Various fully factory finishes are available: more than 20 finishes or a combination of both finishes, for a unique design of your windows. Aluminum clad tilt and turn windows provide a maximum weather-tightness performance and durability. Water condensation and heat transfer are reduced. Various powder coating options are available. Wooden glazing bars can be added to a window design.
Hardware
The window incorporates a multi-point locking system, which ensures a robust level of security. We use Gerda Mortice Locks known for its ease in operation.
Performance
The windows have two layers of gaskets for provide a great level of insulation. The tilt and turn windows are easy to clean and maintain.
Trickle Vents and Sills
Trickle vents can be fitted. An internal wooden window board and external wooden or aluminium sill can be fitted provided. The windows provide an unrestricted exit point in the event of emergency.
Standard Specification
For Tilt & Turn windows we offer Redwood Woodheart as standard on all frames and sashes with PEFC or FSC chain of custody. If a Plant on Cill is specified this will be manufactured from Hardwood with full PEFC or FSC conformance if required.
